If you don't have a photo of the patch to post, I may have a scan to include. My incomplete list of lighthouse patches includes about 90 counties, cities, towns and townships.

Some patches feature a specific lighthouse, others more of a stylized one.

Amelia Island is featured on the patch for the Fernandina Beach FL Police Department:

Lena Wisconsin lies inland aways from the North Shore of Green Bay. Perhaps another Forumite will be able to tell us if this is a 'real' lighthouse or not.

This is my favorite patch. Best image of a real lighthouse. This is from Jupiter Inlet Colony FL, a community of 200 homes. You can imagine just how small the Police Department must be.

Freeport and Cape May look awful similar? Do you suppose the Police Chief transferred?

Continuing the theme of patches that have TWO lighthouses on them...

San Diego CA appears to be using neither of it's well known lighthouses: Point Loma or New Point Loma.

Hey Bob - are you sure that's a lighthouse on Edison NJ? I've noticed a few patches that may be listed on ebay as including a lighthouse, but it sure doesn't look like one to me. I think the closest lighthouse to Edison is Navesink.

Now, you didn't ask for logic here John? Looks like a bright light at the top of a tall tower to me. A generic lighthouse? I made the call it was a lighthouse. Not mt best patch but...

ps I saw a lighthouse(I know no house but...) in the 'Gangs of New York' movie. The old pile of flaming logs in the middle of the harbor!

pps There also a new movie coming out called "Dark ____" which had some preview scenes in and out of a lighthouse.

Chelmsford MA may be another one of those 'Izzat a lighthouse?' patches. Could be some local monument or other. Like Provincetown MA has the Pilgrim Monument.
