I think I am showing signs of serious addiction - I am now able to recognize that distinctive odor that wafts gently upward from newly-opened HL box while blindfolded. And I think I like it more than the "new car" smell...

Well, it is slightly cheaper than a new car .
Unless you go for the whole enchilada.

I have bought a number of lighthouses from Hallmark stores. They all have a distinctive potpourri smell when you remove the H-L box from the shipping container - then the H-L has it's own smell...
It seems to help my seasonal & cat allergies, too - or at least that is what I tell my wife - and she has six house cats. "Yes, dear, those Fresnel Lenses should be just the ticket... much better than Zyrtec...".
I know, dangerous waters...
John
