Tim,

Were you searching for a new brand of brew to try, or deciding what to do with your excess blueberries?

It's funny you should make reference to a blueberry beer. A small restaurant in a neighboring town has blueberry beer on draft. It is a mild beer similar to Coors Lite with a few wild blueberries in it. The scent of wild blueberries is evident in each sip. I'm not sure who brews it but it rings up as "Wachusetts" brew on the tab. Wachusetts is a well known and rather large reservoir in central Massachusetts.

We also have a blueberry ale around here brewed by the Eaglebrook Saloon which is a pub in a neighboring town. They sell it in half gallon jugs. It is a hearty ale but I would prefer the lighter taste of the Wachusetts blueberry beer.

Bob
