NOTE: We will conclude the 2001 series, (before starting the 2002 games)with the 12/27 game. Therefore the are only 2 more games in which to score points for this year. GOOD LUCK!!
Below is today's Light picture to be named.
Here’s a brief list of guidelines that will be used.
1. Every Thursday (usually after 6 pm EST) a new light will be presented, barring problems.
2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint may be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input (please!) with photos ENCOURAGED and appreciated, acknowledged when used.
8. Rate this a 5.

Current scoring as of now is:

sweetpshirin - 25
Derith - 19
SThompson - 11
Mombo - 8
Jchidester - 7
T&J Abbott - 7
Oseabee - 5
Ladybug - 4
Gebbyk - 4
Larry - 4
DMancini - 4
Chesapeake Byron – 2
Pharologst - 0

Download this week's game here: www.lighthousekeepers.com/games/NTFG25.exe

Once you have downloaded the game, just doubleclick on the exe file and start the STANDALONE VERSION. Remember, that solving the puzzle isn't by any means the end - you've got to use the completed puzzle as clues to figure which LH it is.
But of course, you can't win the game until you solve the jigsaw puzzle.

Right click on puzzle pieces to rotate them. Move them together and if you are right, they will stick together.

There are only TWO more games in the 2001 season in which to score points and catch the leaders. But don't despair, and don't miss the last game starting on 12/27 as there is the potential to play "catch up" for the studious !

I was hot on the trail at 5:30. I had just solved the puzzle when I was called to a good ole southern cooked meal of bar-b-qued spareribs, peas, candied yams and fried cornbread! My 87 year old mother arrived for holidays yesterday and made dinner. I shut down the computer and went a running. Did not get back until about 15 minutes ago.

Congrats Shirin! There seems to be no stoppin' you from getting them all correct.

Ok, my score only proves that I spend way too much time on this computer researching lighthouses or doing work for the more than a handfull of groups I belong to. It really can take over everything can't it?

Me too, Nana. I had finished the puzzle, got the clue and was thinking "upside down" = "down under" and was thinking about looking at Australian Lighthouses, but quit the puzzle, checked the forums and Shirin had done it.

It was an Australian kind of day for me yesterday. I came home to a Christmas card from a close friend of mine from the Sydney area, solved this Australian lighthouse puzzle (Australia was already on my mind by then) and then the logic puzzle I worked on last night was about Autralia as well. Is someone trying to say something or have I been watching too many episodes of the Croc Hunter (or whatever his name is)?
