problem with flickr is they don't want to allow members to load their stored pictures onto another website. They want members to SEND people to flcikr to look at your pictures there.

That way they (and other photo sites) can claim higher numbers of visitors and charge more for their ads.

You can include a LINK to your photo here or follow the steps to upload your pictures to our free storage space.

Here on the forum. I looked at pictures you posted of lighthouses you visited, but nothing looked right.

Very interesting with Flickr as I have always done it that way and there has never been a problem. Thanks John for letting me know.

Here's a free one. Or check on Google's Picassa, also free.

The software that came with your digital camera may be able to resize the images.

Or you may be able to resize the images at Flickr and download the smaller size ones.

Thanks Bob, Paul & John for the information and emails regarding uploading and resizing images; very much appreciated. I do have photo editing software but have not used it very much and did not realize I could resize photos through that program. Hopefully what I am seeing on my end as far as a photo, everyone else is able to see too.

Bob, the house we Bradys stayed in at Point Arena was a regular Ranch style house, if you are referring to the 4 houses on the way back to the lighthouse..

Not either one of those Laura & Bob; will post another clue tonight when I get home from work; it's actually part of the lighthouse and not a seperate building

Yes, Paul is right. We were there in July 2007 and had the pleasure of a private tour inside the lighthouse with the caretaker at that time.
Everyone who spends the night is invited to place a rock on the fireplace with a message.

No wall brackets for the stairs or handrail...a really bad pointing job on the brick...bad brick match...actually its ringing a bell. No, I can't place it either.

I am going to try Fire Island. I haven't been inside - hope to remedy that very soon - but I found pictures that look similar.

My picture is of the wall behind the Lighthouse.

After looking at a map, It was Port Weller that I was thinking of. It is at the north end/low end of the Welland canal, on Lake Ontario. Probably not right either. Port Dalhousie is just west of there.

OH there really is a Port Dalhousie? I'm sorry I thought you were making a funny (Port Da-Light-House-ie).
