August of 2008. They were working on the iron gallery. Mosquitoes were vicious. The short walk thru the woods left Nancy and I both bloody. I would have paid $10 for the little bug repellant bottle in the gift shop at the base of the tower. I think it was only $5. :p

It was the piece of black hand rail and the lens that gave it away, then the little piece of red above the wrap made it a slam dunk..

I will put up an image after I get done mowing the front yard.. It's in the mid 80's so the back yard will wait..

You got it Eric. I have been there several times and still have not climbed it. The last time we took the ferry from Lewes, Delaware and saw Harbor of Refuge and Delaware Breakwater, and then Cape May from the water.

Well I was only 2.987 miles off!

Mount Dora Lighthouse, FL

I believe you found it Paul. Moby is good at the difficult lights.

The 35 foot lighthouse was dedicated on March 25, 1988. Built of bricks covered with stucco, the lighthouse stands sentry over the Port of Mount Dora. The Mount Dora Light is the only inland freshwater lighthouse in Florida. It blinks out its address in red to mariners trying to find their way home across the waters of Lake Dora in the darkness of the night.
