The last post of Part XIV was made by Nana as she finally moved on from the shores of Japan. Her lighthouse is listed below.

Merikarvia, Finland
http://www.fma.fi/english/lighthouses/index.html

Go to the index on the left and find the light.

Paul: Bryan posted Deutsche Bucht Lightship in Part VIII with this link:
http://www.worldlights.com/world/dbucht.jpg

Here is another link with photo that seems to further indicate they are the same ship:
http://www.kunst-und-kultur.de/Museum/bin/show/100219971547/

Stats here are the same for both names:
http://buerger.metropolis.de/leuchtt_rme/FEUSCHIF.HTM

Near as I can tell Amrumbank was the name of the ship while Deutsche Bucht was maybe it's location? Searches using Deutsche Bucht brought up some sites for a region called Deutsche Bucht like this one which gives the weather:
http://www.wetteronline.de/schiffsmeldungen/Europa/Nordsee/DeutscheBucht.htm

Deutsche Bucht means German Bay and as near as i can figure out there are more than one German bays in Germany but there was only one Feuerschiff Amrumbank .... Lightship Amrumbank, so I think my post should stand on the merit of being the correct name of the lighthship which starts with an "A"...
I would say use either an "F" or a "K" and play on..

Sound fine to me. I just won't add another "light" to the totals. And we really need some new letters. The "A's" are really getting tough to find!

Margaretsville Lighthouse Bay of Fundy

since it is also spelled Mararetville Lighthouse without the 's', I checked for it being used and spelled that way, also...

I'm new to this game, so I hope I'm doing it right. I need and "A", right? Since the game is far along, I don't know if it is a duplicate, but how about:

Sorry Larry that one has been posted quite a ways back. And Brian posted Eno Sima in Part XIII. So we are back to "E".

Larry you are most welcome to join but with so many lights already posted you should either make yourself a list of those posted or do a "search" under "Nothing to Do with Anything" to see if the light you want to submit has been used.

In Part XIV Derith posted this one:

Dryrholaey Lighthouse, Iceland http://adams.dm.unipi.it/~milani/fantascienza/lightlat/lighthou.gif

If you compare that photo with the one Larry just posted they sure look like the same lighthouse.

When I did a search of both spellings I found nothing under Derith's and listings under Larry's.

AND, I've come up with another photo of this lighthouse with yet one more spelling, Dyrhólaey, which is just the same as the photo in Derith's post!
http://www.intertext.com/Zines/InterText/v5n5/lighthouse1.gif

In light of all the above I think we should let Larry's post stand but just not increase the number of lighthouses posted.

Larry, quick! post the second one now, before anyone else does!....trust me, I've been buzzed so many times for posting the one someone else had posted earlier, the buzzer quit and I have posted two in one day several times because I was so excited that I found one that had not been used.....you will be fine and we are so glad you are playing with Sue, Bryan, Paul and Me......it is so much fun finding all of these lights and the different architectural styles are so interesting.......

Thanks for the encouragement Derith!

Okay, I think I'm learning the rules...is a day 24 hours or a square on a calendar?

If it is a square on a calendar:

Stephens Island, New Zealand http://www.msa.govt.nz/Lighthouses/content/lighthouse/stephensisland.stm

Larry, it's a square on the calendar. Derith, now how did you get Cape Campbell from Stephens Island???

Swallowtail Lighthouse (N.B., Canada)

(John, do we have this one on the B&B List?)

Cape Campbell? Where did you see that Sue? Oh me, age plus working day and night to support one's habit will make you make an "s" a "c" and so forth....at least I've got one in reserve....

Now, Lonely Island, Canada

This cohort was out lighthousing...I had a grand time....saw Cockspur, climbed Tybee, climbed the pretend light at Sea Pines, saw Haig Point and Bloody Point. So now, I'm going to play this game.....Bryan was in shouting distance of me part of the weekend, but we are going to have to meet in Baltimore....
