This lighthouse as well as apparently 47 other Croatian Lights are available for short or long term rental. If you play around with this site you can find info on several of them.

I wonder if this is one of the lights that Bill will be photographing while he is in Scotland? He must be having a blast!

Well, I wouldn't try to leave another "X"!
The unwritten rule should be don't submit a light that you can't follow up yourself. 'Course Paulie was going to fall back on the "A" if need be. No doubt at some time we'll have to resort to such measures!

My husband translated the French from your last lighthouse, Paul. Hope his high school French was correct. The right name for the light did end in "L"....??

Work your way to the photo...lighthouse list and then the name in ABC order...

First, a public Thank You to Paul for cleaning up my post when I am in a hurry.

Since I have been posting in the morning, my Easter trip to Atlanta got me all off...maybe now that I am at home, I can get back into my routine.

Nahkiainen, Finland
http://www.fma.fi/english/lighthouses/index.html

Lighthouse list and then the name in ABC order. This one makes me feel cold....No wonder there is a heliopad on the top.

Nice views, Paul.

Amour, Newfoundland
http://www.ucs.mun.ca/~dmolloy/AMOUR.JPG

The magnificent Amour Lighthouse marks the northern entrance of the iceberg filled Straits of Belle Isle. Built in 1851, it is the second highest lighthouse in Canada. The lighthouse was renovated in 1994 and now operates as a museum.
