Pay for your lighthouses with lighthouses . . . I don't know if anybody else has been looking but, we found checks with lighthouses on them. Initially we found checks that had A lighthouse on one of the four designs. Yesterday we got a check flyer with a set of checks showing 4 lighthouse designs: White Shoal (no snow), Old Point Loma, Assateague, and Cape Hatteras (not sure of which mold). Since I already have a Lighthouse credit card, I thought these check would make paying for our lighthouses more FUN.

To view the checks on the web go to:

http://designerchecks.com/

I'm not pushing the checks, just sharing the information.

Another set of lighthouse checks are also very, very good. I have searched for the nicest looking I could find, and finally came across a set that is awsome.

It is from "Bev's Studio" in Mulkilteo, Washington 1-800-315-2961. They do not not have a web site, but I am sure if you call they will send a brochure or sample. A portion of the funds goes toward lighthouse preservation.

The set includes: Cape Henry Lighthouse (new), Little Sable Light, White Shoal Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Jupiter Inlet Light, Big Sable Point, Assateague Lighthouse, and Gray's Harbor Light. They are very colorful watercolor drawings with plenty of waves, sky, and vegetation. The White Shoals and Little Sable are especially nice.

Just some info on the checks from designerchecks.com. I am using these lighthouse checks now, and they are nice, but the design on them is very dark and whatever you write on the front is hard to see. Just something to think about if you are planning on buying these.

Good heads up Todd, they looked a little dark on the web but, it's hard to tell without a real sample and I was desperate. (I pulled my order from the mail box.)

Rod, I'll give Bev's Studio a call in the morning.

Thank you both.

Checks in the Mail also has lighthouse checks. Prices are competitive. You can order a catalog at http://www.checksinthemail.com

Thanks for lighthouse checks, but seemd that my checks leave me to get light houses not come into my house with light houses already.

I've had both Bev's Studio and ChecksInTheMail lighthouse checks. IMHO Bev's Studio are without doubt the best looking of the two. Each lighthouse image is something really special. However, they're significantly more expensive than ChecksInTheMail. I currently use ChecksInTheMail based strictly on price and put my savings into my HL collection.
