There are two this week #4 and #4a see below.
Below is today's Light picture to be named.
Here’s a brief list of guidelines that will be used.
1. Every Thursday (usually in PM EST) a new light will be presented, barring problems.
2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint may be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input (please!) with photos ENCOURAGED and appreciated, acknowledged when used.
8. Rate this a 3.
Download this week's game here: CLICK HERE

Once you have downloaded the game, just doubleclick on the exe file and start the STANDALONE VERSION. Remember, that solving the puzzle isn't by any means the end - you've got to use the completed puzzle as clues to figure which LH it is.
But of course, you can't win the game until you solve the jigsaw puzzle.
Right click on puzzle pieces to rotate them. Move them together and if you are right, they will stick together.

Current scoring is:
DMancini - 12
Mombo - 4
Sweetpshirin - 3
Lightseeker -2

One I'm sure of, Dog Island Light Station, Florida. The other one is a guess, Cobb Point Bar in Maryland?

"No comment", until the complete correct answer is provided to all of the puzzle.

Aw shucks Randy can have the points, I don't care. Why with all these cats I have I got the dog light instead of the cat light is beyond me!

Mombo, I would be happy to split, I would even just take one point and you can have the other two! At least I would be on the big points board! What do you think?

Well Randy the way this has gone in the past when the game contained more than one light the first player to name all the lights got all the points. So a player was able to "steal" any correct lights guessed previously by a player. If you knew my "Dog" was right you should have said "Cat and Dog" in your post and you would have received all 3 points. However, I do feel a tad guilty especially as how I knew I should have check other states beginning in "M" for the 2nd light but didn't. So not doing so makes me a dunce and should disqualify me. George, please give Randy my points.

The other side of the coin is, in a multiple part puzzle one should not post only a partial answer since partial credit is never given. In the past on multiple part puzzles, i've given a gentle nudge when more was needed, as was the case in this situation. Neither of you originally gave a "complete" answer. After reading my "nudge" either of you had the opportunity to post the full answer, so the first one to do so gets the points. Standings remain the same.!! (All of a sudden I feel like the referee at an NFL game after a play review). With a few hundred more points to be scored this year, one or two either way may not make a difference.

George, I posted a complete answer the first time, but was only 1/2 right!

This was actually my first guess and I didn't know or maybe knew the rules. I will learn from my mistake and try better in the future! It's all yours Mombo!

Fair is fair!
