Here’s a brief list of guidelines that will be used.
1. Every Thursday a new light will be presented, barring problems.
2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint will be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores if desired, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input with photos appreciated and acknowledged when used.

Yes, congratulations gebbyk! Now can you tell us the story behind that "handle" or do we have to guess that too?!

This game is interesting George as it has pointed out that there are some very similar lantern rooms out there. Although Amelia Island is the older light perhaps it's lantern room is from a newer period similar to that of St. Simons?

When I looked at your picture of Amelia Island, I began to doubt myself. They are nearly identical except for the length of the lightning rod. That set of construction plans must have floated around that area for some time.

On more post Ed14 and you'll be a WACKO (officially any way - you're probably one already when it comes to Harbour Lights.)

Something else to be aware of in this study of lighthouses....what lantern rooms are look alikes.....Thanks George, this is a great game!

Great game George! I took a picture almost from the same angle a month ago, during the day though, and was able to figure it out by comparing pictures. It's a great lighthouse & museum.
