Below is today's Light picture to be named.
Here’s a brief list of guidelines that will be used.
1. Every Thursday (usually in PM EST) a new light will be presented, barring problems.
2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint may be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input (please!) with photos ENCOURAGED and appreciated, acknowledged when used.
8. Rate this a 4.

Download this week's game here: CLICK HERE

There is a problem with the 2nd part of the puzzle, so see the thread below before you get frustrated.

Once you have downloaded the game, just doubleclick on the exe file and start the STANDALONE VERSION. Remember, that solving the puzzle isn't by any means the end - you've got to use the completed puzzle as clues to figure which LH it is.
But of course, you can't win the game until you solve the jigsaw puzzle.
Right click on puzzle pieces to rotate them. Move them together and if you are right, they will stick together.

Current scoring is:
DMancini - 17
Mombo - 7
Sweetpshirin - 3
Lightseeker -2
pharologst -0

I'm emailing a copy to you, except that Diane has no email address available.

I'm not sure what the problem is with the download, but for all you players who finish the first part of the puzzle, email me with a request for the 2nd part and tellme what the object is in the first puzzle.

Nope !

I take it from the comments this one is a bit tough?? This year a 5 pointer will be difficult!

It is only difficult in the sense that it is very hard to look at in order to complete the puzzle. The background in combination with the design of the photo are extremely tough on the eyes.

So...good luck to anyone who completes the puzzle, figures out which lighthouse it is, and has any eyesight left!

CLUE: It's a First order Fresnel and was deactivated in 1963. Remember Zorro and this light have something in common.

Okay, it wasn't a BLACK (Negro) Cape, so maybe it's just a cape?

"Cape" Meares, OR? 1st order lens, deactivated 1963

PS...I'm guessing on clues only, since it still hurts to look at the picture!
