Thank you, John, for asking me to be the moderator for this forum.

I, like many of you, am involved with ongoing lighthouse restoration/preservation projects and feel that it is importatnt that we all get involved with saving these national treasures for future generations to enjoy and care for.

Whether you: educate & inform others about the plight of our lighthouses; study the history of those who designed, built, tended, lived at or used them for guidance; donate your time and expertise through hands-on restoration work; donate money once or many times; or are actively involved with a particular organization raising large sums of money for these efforts, EVERY BIT HELPS TO SAVE OUR SENTINELS.

I thank you all for your compliments and support and I look forward to seeing your posts here.

but shame on you that I had to read the news on here!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know I work with Ron as Treasurer for NELL and we are steering committee members for Avery Point Lighthouse Sociey as well. I don't know how the poor guy finds time for it all or why his wife M.J. keeps him around. I guess his heart is so big there's space for us all in it.

If he does 1/2 the job here as he had done for NELL & ALPS your all in great hands. This guy will do anything in the name of
"KEEPING THE FLAME"
