My former teacher just returned from California. While there, they visited Point Arena. She gave me information about the lighthouse, and about 3 home on the site that you can rent. I wasn't sure if it was very widely known about, and I figured, what better place than the forums????

So here's the info as quoted from a tourism paper about the area.
"The Lighthouse Keepers also offer three homes on the lighthouse site for vacation rental to help fund their project. Call (707) 882-2777 for information or reservations."

Sounds like a great opportunity to stay at a beautiful lighthouse!

I wanted to stay there on my trip up the West coast two years ago but was undone by the 2 night minimum.

I also tried for East Brother but it was not available for the time I was in that area.
