Drawing will be held on October 23rd at the Annual Membership Dinner at *Core Sound Waterfowl Museum. You do not need to be present to win.

OBLHS members will receive ticket packets in newsletter later this month.

The ticket supply was delayed (printing was done in Florida!) but is finally on the way to me.

I will have them hopefully by Monday - no later than Tuesday and will be shipping a supply to Shirin. Joyce(Bonnebart) will also receive a supply to sell, and of course I will be selling them.

A total of ten tickets will go out to each member next week by First Class Mail. Any member desiring additional tickets, should contact me.

Also, I'm looking for others who would like to help out by having a supply of tickets to sell. Because of the hurricane situation, we have a shorter selling time this year, so help is needed!

Dennis, the winners names WILL be announced in the next OBLHS newsletter. In fairness to their privacy, without their permission, I would be hessitant to announce them here.

I can say that one of the four winners was present at the Keepers Weekend, and took home part of his prize.

The other three winners were not present, and there will be some heavy shipping going on. The raffle was a huge success, and OBLHS netted just shy of $9000.

Sorry, Dennis, neither of us won. Maybe next time?

I guess i'll have to pay my own way to the Outer Banks after all.

Thanks for letting us know as much as you did.

I don't agree about the announcement though- you sold the tickets here and the winners should be announced here. We don't need full addresses- just names and towns.

That could just be me though who thinks that way. If the info is published in the newsletter their privacy is gone anyway.
