 NELL Donates to USCG Lightship Sailors Memorial

This past weekend (May 18th & 19th)NELL held their Spring Meeting in Falmouth, MA. The weekend also included a tour of Martha's Vineyard and get-togethers for dinners and breakfast for all in attendence.
I'm proud to say that those who attended raised $723 for the USCG Lightship Sailors Memorial in New Bedford, MA. This memorial will have the names of all those daring souls who lost their lives while serving their country aboard US Lightships.
A big "Thank You" to all of those folks who participated and donated to help make this memorial a reality.

Thank you Ron and all the NELL members for the generous donation. It continues your fine example of "putting your money where your mouth is" and showing such wonderful support of lighthouse (and lightship) preservation. You all definitely set a great example for everyone.
