Most all of the folks on these forums know who "Digger" is and are familiar with the beautiful paintings that he has done, including "Eddystone", which was presented to the Youngers at the recent Harbour Lights Reunion in Baltimore. Also, at the HL Reunion was the most beautiful painting of Old Michigan City Lighthouse, also done by Steve "Digger" Ervin, which was on display in the opportunity drawing. MJ, my wife, was fortunate enough to bring it home with us and it now hangs on the wall in our dining room. I'm sure that many of you would love to have a copy of Steve's painting for your own home. That is now possible through the offer above. You can own a signed limited edition print of Old Michigan City and/or note cards with the same image on it. You could even decide to frame one of the note cards and display it next to your Harbour Lights Christmas piece of Old Michigan City Light. Whatever you choose to do you should do it soon, as there are only 100 prints available and 200 packages of six note cards each. These would make excellent Christmas Gifts and all money raised goes for lighthouse preservation. Thank you for your support & Happy Holidays. "Keeping The Flame Alive" Ron

I really overlooked a MAJOR item in our conversations Ron. I actually never told you the name of the painting! Man, Have I ever been scatter-brained lately. Diggin' way too many holes! Actually it is titled "CHRISTMAS PEACE". Get it? Christmas Peace = Christmas Piece. I just couldn't resist.

Thanks Kristin for the links. You continue to be very resourceful.
Thanks for the 'real' Title for the painting Steve. Those of you out there who have the Harbour Lights' Christmas piece will certainly have to buy Steve Ervin's 'Christmas Peace'.
Those of you who haven't ordered should do so soon, they are very, very popular!!

Great idea Ron,
The check will be in the mail tomorrow for 1 of the 8x10 prints. Jeff and I will be going to the lighting ceromony tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for making up the prints.

Speaking of Eddystone, what ever happened to the prints? If they have been mailed, I was lost in the shuffle. I like the note cards alot. Thanks for your efforts.

Hi cclighthousebuff. The Eddystone Print that you are speaking of was mailed out on October 20, 2001 (at least that is the postmark on the envelope that mine came in). You may wish to contact Paul Brady at the following email address: wackopaul@bvimpact.com Paul co-ordinated this project and also mailed out the prints. Thank you Randy, and everyone who has responded or is planning to respond, for supporting this effort by NELL to raise funds for lighthouse preservation. I am so grateful to Digger for allowing us to produce the limited edition Prints and Note Cards and for signing and numbering them. The limited edition prints (there are only 100) of this painting are going very fast. Don't miss your chance to own this print, which not only is a beautiful work of art by a very talented artist but also has special meaning if you are a Harbour Lights Collector. This was commissioned by Harbour Lights because it represents the lighthouse chosen by them for the 2001 Christmas piece. The colors in these prints are true to the original work of art. Since when can you get anything this beautiful and meaningful for only $10 (plus S&H)? They make excellent gifts for lighthouse lovers everywhere. Don't regret not taking us up on this offer. Order your's today, BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!! Thank you Randy for posting here. I invite the rest of you, who have received your order for these prints and cards, to post here also as a testament to the quality and value of this offer. Steve,
I'm glad that you like the note cards. I thank you again for allowing NELL to produce prints and cards with your Old Michigan City painting. You, with your wonderful talent, not only make beautiful works of art for people to enjoy but you are generous in that you also help raise funds to preserve our nations lighthouses.
Thanks for "Keeping the Flame"
