The Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, A Chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation, will be the hosts for this Open House on Sunday, May 18, 2003 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Weather permitting, visitors will be able to climb to the top of the tower to get a magnificent view of Portsmouth Harbor and the surrounding area. There is a suggested donation of $2 for adults and $1 for children. Flat shoes are strongly recommended and children under 36 inches are not permitted to climb to the top. Also adults are not permitted to carry children up the stairs.

Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse is located off Rt. 1B in New Castle adjacent to the Fort Constitution Historic Site and U.S. Coast Guard Station Portsmouth Harbor.
