September 19, 20 & 21 - Maine Lighthouse Trip & Cruise
A three-day trip to see 10 Maine lighthouses and visit 3 of its most famous ones. Your trip starts by boarding your luxury motor coach in Greenport, New York, then to New London on the Cross Sound Ferry viewing lighthouses on your way. After arriving in Maine and picking up box lunches you will proceed to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, one of its most historic (it will be on your new quarters) as well as Fort William Henry (circa 1692) and Museum.
The next day you will board your boat for Lights of the Kennebec. Cruise on the historic Kennebec River with a lunch stop at Seguin Island Lighthouse,one of Maine's oldest light stations, and its only operating 1st Order Fresnel Lens. A second stop will be made at Burnt Island Lighthouse in Boothbay Harbor. After viewing six more lighthouses your boat will return to Bath, where you will get a special tour of the famous Maine Maritime Museum followed by a lighthouse lecture and dinner at the Museum restaurant.
On Sunday your motor coach will return to New London with a shopping and lunch stop at the famed Lighthouse Depot and a stop at the picturesque Cape Neddick (Nubble) Lighthouse.
Price per person, double occupancy, including all transportation, accommodations at the Bath Holiday Inn, lunches, Saturday night dinner, and fees is $550.00 for non-members and $525.00 members of East End Lighthouses. For single occupancy, add $130.00.
