I finally decided to start a new thread for this exchange. I was hoping to finish it out on the previoius thread, but there are still 6 people who need to send cards. Those people have received a reminder note from me.

The previoius thread can be found here .

I received Darlene's card today. Great card of a light that should be easily accessible but is not. I do believe this is the first time for a card of this light.

I think the answer to the trivia question has been posted. What was the frequency of the firing of the cannon?

I had no problem with the bridge out to Point Bonita...until my son starting jumping up and down on it! Some more pictures will be sent in the letter for Exchange 20.

Speak louder, John - going deaf from firing that blasted 24 pounder every half hour.

Received Eileen's nice card of a light many of us have visited. We were last there just before the great floods caused by the September hurricane. Fortunately, this light is now in the care of a good organization so it has a promising future.

Received Eileen's card in yesterday's mail. The Post Office wasn't real kind to the card .... had three highly prominent "scuff marks" and some ink transfer from the cancellation marks that found it's way to the front of the card. frown

Thanks Eileen ..... the card brings back very fond memories of the 2001 Baltimeore Reunion and the 1st annual Maryland Lighthouse Challenge.

Thanks to Larry R, Darlene, JoAnn, Eileen, and Ron & MJ for all your cards that came in while I was out of town. Doc John... I haven't seen a card from you yet. Hopefully it wasn't lost in my pile of mail. frown

A lovely card of a Maine light arrived in last Saturday's mail that was postmarked in Connecticut but did not have any info on it as to who it was from. From other posts in regards to PCE #21, I'm pretty sure the card came from the Foster's. Beautiful card of a beautiful location. Thanks Ron & Mary Jane. smile smile

I think Ron & MJ did put their name on the card, but if yours is like mine, the USPS bar coded across it. Using a magnifying glass I can see part of their name, but not all that was written. With the NELL picture it had to be Ron or Shirin, and Shirin had already sent hers.

I received Donna's very nicely done card yesterday. Probably not a light many of us will see or have a card of.

Received Donna's card as well yesterday. Thanks a bunch! smile Strange how they didn't even put the name of the card on the backside. It's got a nice feel to it, more like a photo than a postcard.

Donna's card of a Nova Scotia light arrived last week and Roxie's card of a Maine light came today. The Nova Scotia card is new to our collection and the Maine card is a different view of a light that we'd love to visit some day. Thanks smile smile

Thanks to all who sent cards for this swap. All are greatly appreciated. I still have hopes the remainder will show up, sometime.
