Got your lighthouse calendar for 2004 yet? 50% off on calendars at Barnes & Noble. I bought the 'Gladstone' lighthouse calendar which is an odd, but appropriate shape for a lighthouse calendar. It's 22" x 9" and for January, it features Little Sable Lighthouse which I had the good fortune to visit last Spring.
Looking ahead, I've visited half of the 12 lighthouses on this calendar.
You know, of course, that Harbour Lights did not published a 2004 Calendar - first time in a number of years.
So do you -- or will you -- have a lighthouse calendar? (If not, is this a sign of your waining interest in lighthouses?)

I have a bargain calendar from the dollar store. Actually not too bad at all, my only complaint would be that the paper stock is lighter than a more expensive calendar. But, hey, it was only a buck.
First up for 2004 is a nice shot of Bodie Island. I have been to 10 of the 12 lights shown.

I have two 2004 calendars so far. I bought one for myself from a co-worker who was selling items for school fundraiser campaign. My dad bought me one in September for my birthday. One is at work. The one here says Bay Street on the back. I have seen 4 of the lighthouses in this calendar (Split Rock, Old Mackinac Point, Admiralty Head, Pigeon Point). My dad also picked up a few free calendars for me that contain a couple of lighthouse pictures. If I see a good lighthouse calendar on clearance, I may buy another one. I have to check out the clearance sales at Lighthousedepot.com. My passion for lighthouses is growing, not waining...

I, like Dave, went for a bargain calendar. First up on mine is Pt. Betsie.

Well the Calendar in the "Computer" room, is one I picked up on the TBHLCC west coast trip, and the Lighthouse for January is Cape Blanco.

I picked up one of those 366 day desk calenders yesterday.
It was half price and it will serve double duty as the others in the past have- I use the daily pages as note paper at the computer or for short notes in the mail.

My older sister and new brother-in-law picked out a lighthouse calendar for part of my Christmas present. My brother-in-law is from Maine so they got a nice calendar with just lights on Maine. January is a nice snow shot of Pemaquid.

I have 2, one is a weekly engagement calendar kept by the computer, Nobska with snow on the ground is the first week's lighthouse, the other hangs in the kitchen, Mid-Atlantic Lighthouses, January is Tinicum Rear Range. We have been to all of them except 3, those being in New York. But they are on the list.

I have a lighthouse calendar by J.F. Turner & Company. January has a "Lighthouse on the Rocky Shore" which is a picture of Peggy's Cove with a blue hue over it. Very pretty.

I didn't answer the question. January is Portland Head on one of my calendars. The other calendar is at work.

I have two, both of Maine Lighthouses. The first has Pemaquid for January and the other Owl's Head. Lighthouse Calendars are a "MUST HAVE" in this household. Shirin and I must have the same Maine lighthouse with that beautiful shot of Pemaquid with snow.

I have 4 calendars-2 LH-- "THE LIGHTHOUSE CALENDAR", a tall calendar with beautiful photos and of which I have seen 2 of the lights , and one that I got for Christmas from my Aunt that is a regular format and that I have seen absolutely none (I'mmm a bbbaaaaaadddd lighthouser!!! ). I also have 1 filled with travel photos from around the world which I got from a tour operator, and one from the local TrueValue with historic homes of America. On each of these, I have: Tall: Little Sable, MI Reg. Format: Pt. Betsie, MI Travel: Patagonia, South America Homes: Winchester Mystery House, San Jose, CA I've now been getting the tall format one for three years, and save them all on a little pushpin on the wall, with the latest one on top. I need to install a curved hook soon...they're falling off too much.

I had 4 lighthouse calendars last year and I only have 2 this year. Not a waning interest, just a request at Christmas that no one buy me a calendar. I always wait until after 1/1 to get my calendars as I refuse to pay full price. I have Jean Guichard's 2004 (gotta get him every year) and a New England Lighthouse one at work.
January is:
Guichard: Skerryvore in Scotland NE LH: Cape Cod (Highland) Lighthouse

I have four wall calendars that show for January: Cana Island LH, Wisconsin Key West LH, Florida Wigwam Point Light, Annasquaim Harbor, Massachusetts Little Sable LH, Michigan (the tall calendar like Seagirt's) And then I have a "day-timer" that features two per month: Cape Neddick Light, York, Maine Busum LH, Germany I just like being surrounded by lighthouse photos...the more the better! One of these calendars features exclusively, photos by our friend Bruce Roberts. Judy

I hung up my other lighthouse calendar at work today. January is Key West. Maybe it's the same as one of Judy's.

I have a really fantastic calendar made for me by my lighthouse buddy, Eskilady. It is made up of some of the lighthouses that we have seen together. January is Old Fort Niagara, which is the one we have helped clean a few times with our club. I'm on the cover with Montauk from our last trip before I moved. So it is very special.
