Started a new thread for postings on the current exchange, as there are still a number of folks who have to send cards (7 I believe.)

Anyway, got Judy's really unusual cards today. (Yes, you get a bonus!) I don't think Judy will have to worry about anyone else having sent her cards - unless you have been to Uruguay recently. Thanks for a really unique addition to the collection.

Yesterday was a great day! I received three postcards in the mail, Dave H., Bob, and Doc John. Life is always good when you get to see a lighthouse even if only in a picture.

Doc John, The card of Oracoke is beautiful. I've only this that light in the pouring rain. I'm going to try your recipe for Christmas dinner.

Bob, Thanks for the great card letting me know where all the other lights I missed are.

Dave, I wasn't angling for a bonus but will always take it. That's my nephew Harley in front of the light. He visited shops buying one or two cards until he had enough for me. He was very pleased to be able to help with this project.

Put our postcards in the mail yesterday.

Now have to start getting those ready for the two exchanges in January, 2002.

Thanks for all of the postcards we've received to date.

Received Dennis' card today - Cove Point, where he visited recently with his bride. For me, his enclosed note was also a bonus - it was written on a calendar page that showed Tchefuncte River Light, one I saw just recently.

Thanks Dennis for the card of Assateague. I visited the lighthouse in May and loved the setting. The wildlife refuge is beautiful to view or take a walk. We were able to see the wild ponies at the same time.

I'm late with this exchange too,. But they are in the envelopes and addressed. They will go out in the mail on Monday.

Received ones from Judy, Dennis and Doc John recently and all were very enjoyable. This was a great suggestion, whoever started the first one.

Received the Abbott's very nice card of Georgia Lights. I think that Doc John has started a new trend including recipies, since Tom & Joyce added one to their mailing. Thanks for another wonderful addition to the collection.

Things are starting to pick up! Got Derith's great card of Battery Island, MD along with a informative write-up and print of some recent pics she took. I'll bet she had to do some searching for this card, but it is another unique addition to the collection.

I received Tom & Joyce's wonderful card from Georgia last evening and Derith's card from Fishing Battery. Both cards made me look forward to more interesting lighthousing trips.

I've finally got caught up with all my mail that accumulated while I was away! What wonderful goldmine of postcards, letters and other "extras" we all have received over the past few weeks!

Mails done...bills paid up...tree went up yesterday...now I have to get hustling on the Christmas shopping and some cooking. I plan to make some cookies next weekend. I will definitely need to try the "Fairy Drops" sent by the Abbott's. They sound very tasty!

I finally got most of my cards in the mail today. Just a couple more to go out tomorrow. I'm getting faster though, last exchange I mailed them out on the final day. LOL.

My cards are in envelopes with a note, the envelopes are sealed, addressed and stamped. They will go out in Tuesday's mail.

If you joined my bus tour of NJ lighthouses in October, it was one of the lighthouses we visited.

Got Rod's card of Sand Hills, Michigan, from their UP trip last summer. I saw Rod's itinerary for the trip, and I don't recall a time scheduled to purchase post cards. Rod must have been ahead of schedule and had some free time.

Thanks for another great card, Rod.

Rod's came and so did St.John's. Enjoyed them both and was tickled to add them to my PC collection. Lots of memories went rushing thru my mind when I opened John's. Now with my Christmas gift from the Kaisers I can buy lots of PCs from all over.

Received Lainey's card of Chesapeake Bay Lighthouses today. A nice reminder of the recent Baltimore reunion! Just a few more folks to get cards from and this exchange will be completed.
