Received cards from both of the Carol's today. Thank you both for the great cards.

Carol I. - what lighthouse is on your card? I'm not familiar with that one!

I was about to ask the same question. I looked at Carol I's address on the envelope and thought maybe the light is in NY. Can't wait to find out.
I have recieved 5 cards so far and each one is beautiful. Thanks!

Yes, the lighthouse is in NY and is on Cayuga Lake. If you look in Lighthouse Depot database, it is called Myers Point Light and is just a small light. But since it is "local", I decided to put that one on my Christmas cards. I am glad that you liked it and it was a puzzle for both of you.

Thanks for letting us know Carol! I'll have to put that light on my list for whenever I get to your part of NY. With it being your local light I think it makes it that much more fitting to be on your holiday card. Great choice!

So, Bob, I can simply save the post-it, replace it with a new one and send you back your card next year?

My cards were mailed this morning at the Tampa Airport Post Office. Hopefully they will arrive in your mailboxes sometime this week.

The exchange has brought some great cards my way.
Shirin, Sheryl, Carol I, Carol Z, Tom & Joyce, Stephanie, Bonnie Jean, Ruthie and Linda, the cards and photos were lovely and I enjoyed seeing lighthouses I don't know. Thanks for the mail and for the introductions.

All ya'll have a great holiday season.

Don't forget, Judy, I have the power to edit out objectionable parts of a post. I think smilies fall into that catagory.

Got Darlene's card today - LOVE IT. Such a neat lighthouse, thanks.

Hi Darlene,
Thanks for letting me see what your favorite local lighthouse looks like during the holidays>

When will you be in Florida? Will you be coming thru Tampa on your way to Key West? Let me know.

Well I've received some great lighthouse cards...thanks to all...well all except slow poke Davey Boy... :p I bet you did this on purpose Dave, just so you would be the last card we will receive  Just like you like to be the last number in a series in other things...right!! I'm sure your comment would be to "save the best for last" one. Thanks again to all of you. Wishing you HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I got Judy's card today - very cool. Even has real fancy envelope.

Ruthie, yes, the best is last; but then again, you deserve to be last with your attitude. Probably treat the mail person the same way which is why yours will be later than everyone elses. I imagine your stocking will be full of switches the way you are acting. . . . .

Yesterday was a banner day at the mailbox - six cards - 4 from lighthouse friends and 2 family cards. I have enjoyed all of the cards this exchange - I'm ready to do it again next year.

Dave laugh , just to let you know, the clear envelopes were my regular Christmas Cards. The black envelopes were for the Holiday Card exchange. I had my nephews (6 & 8) helping me and I didn't look for duplicate names until after they had put stamps on all the envelopes. So a few lucky people will get two cards instead of one.

Ruthie, I loved your card. Poinsettias always remind me of the holidays. Even in the middle of summer.

This has been a great exchange with so many neat cards, and several very nicely done homemade variety. Some of you did not get the CD with your card, but you also received the CD more than a month before the others did.

Hope everyone has a wonderful new year.

Only one question..Is Marie Hannum a relative?

Thanks everyone for a great Christmas exchange. Just in case you thought there was no snow on my card, our snow in Florida is just a little grainer than most states. White sand is our snow.

Sadly I think Roy and I will take top honors on being the last holiday cards out. Sorry Dave. My intention was to have the cards sent before Christmas, but do to technical difficulties with my printer we were unable to generate the cards we originally intended to send. frown We will have them in the mail tomorrow. The cards we received were terrific. Thank you to everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Have a safe New Year. laugh laugh

Technical difficulties or operator error, Carolyn? Did you forget to put paper in the printer again??? You will sneak in under the deadline if you get in the mail by Tuesday - Shirin set the exchange for the month of December.
