After being out of town for 2 weeks, I have sent all my cards yesterday. I hope this is a new card that most of you haven't seen. All cards are the same.

I haven't purchased any new cards lately due to the fact that the weather has been lousy, to say the least, each time I'm off. I was hoping to find a new and different card to send out rather than the usual ones I have sent in the past (I have those in stock).

Hopefully, one of these days, I will be afforded the opportunity to take a little "lighthouse ride" and find a different set of cards to send out for PCE #14. I still have over a month to accomplish this!

I haven't forgotten! I just haven't been anywhere this year and lighthouse postcards are hard to find in Kentucky. I have some duplicates but some of you may have already received them in a previous exchange so I'll try to find a new one.

My cards went out today. There are several different cards that went to different people but I don't think I sent anyone the same one as on previous exchanges. There is an extra included.

I had hoped to be able to send some new and exciting card for this exchange, but it isn't going to happen. The consistently lousy weather on my days off have prevented me from heading for the shore and nearby gift shops.

It will be an "eleventh hour mailing" of cards I have in stock. Hopefully, those involved in this exchange will be lucky enough to receive a card they may not have.

Not everyone received the same card as I have too many and have to mail out some of the old ones before the new lighthousing season starts.

I was once stranded in Indiana on a Riverboat out of Louisville- I think it was called the Belle Of Louisville.

We got caught in a bad Thunderstorm with high winds and the ship couldn't fight them so they pulled over to the Indiana side of the river until things died down.

Isn't it interesting how the mail does (or doesn't) work? Today I also received Doc John's card. I received Ed's card the same day as Dennis, though I am "just up the road" from him and Dennis is several hundred miles away. Lori received Bryan's card from all the way across country, but I still haven't, and I am way closer to him. Be interesting to know how the USPS routes mail around the country. (Actually, it would probably scare us, as I don't think they actually have any plan in place. . . .)

I received Ed's card yesterday and John's card today. Both are great cards. Thanks!

Sorry, Kids, I haven't had a chance to get to a postcard store near the shore yet this year. I can't believe I'm five months into 2003 and I haven't been able to get away to the coast.

The boat goes in on Wednesday and we'll be in Newport for Memorial Day weekend. Maybe I can find something new down there then.

That's the word from the East Coast where the temp is 40 degrees, it's overcast, the wind is blowing hard, and you really don't want to be outside unless you're dressed warm. When is the warm weather going to arrive?

You will be happy to hear my cards are going into the mail in the morning, for PCE #14.

Because of my tardiness, I have enclosed two brand new postcards in each envelope. All envelopes contain one matching card and the other card was randomly picked.

Everyone should receive them before the end of the week.
