To date, Shirin, Sheryl and Jen have mailed cards. Bert mailed cards today and Judy's should be out in today's mail.

The only one I've gotten so far is Shirin's...but my mail is exceedingly slow around here since I live 45 minutes from any major metropolitan area...

Jen, I received yours yesterday! Shirin's was in my mail waiting for me Monday.

Received your card today Bert. Just before opening yours I opened a card of the same lighthouse but a night shot from a fellow NELL member. Definately a very photogenic lighthouse. Thanks!

Received my mail package today! And man was it FULL!

Two Christmas Cards (one from Shirin, and one from Sheryl). Three PCE#18, one PCE#19, one Round Robin, a nice letter from John Gaskill, and one PCE#14 (thanks Ron). And we won't talk about all the bills that wore in it too!

My contribution to the Christmas card exchange is ready to go into the mail this afternoon. The news said Monday (15th) is the busiest day of the year for items being put into the mail - I wanted to beat the rush. Had to buy a new printer to get the job done, so I have included a bill for each person's share of the expense.

Card from Stephanie arrived yesterday and got one today from Judy . Beautiful cards all around.

I sent my Christmas Cards out this morning. Card is nice but I have much better pictures! Next year, will be less of a hassle (I hope) so I'll start planning now.

I too have been getting some really great cards!! They are so beautiful and I wish that I had had the imagination to make my own too. But I didn't - I bought mine and they went out in the mail this morning. I really love the cards that I have been getting!!

I've gotten Judy's, and Tom & Joyce, and another...I can't remember off the top of my head...teehee..everyone has had great cards! It's been nice seeing some lights I haven't seen before!

I have been home 1 day after being gone for 3 weeks. Thanks for all the really neat cards I have received the past few weeks.

I stayed up late last night to finish my cards so that they could hurry and get in the mail. I'm dropping them at the post office today so they should be on their way first thing in the morning.

Banner Day today, got cards from Tom & Joyce Abbott - Dave, Susan & Heather Hannum - Carol Innerst - and the Bob Scroope Family. Once again some very nice cards.

I am always tardy in getting out my Christmas cards, but mine went out yesterday.

I've received wonderful cards from you guys, and am enjoying the lighthouse "flavor" of my mail. This was a great idea!

Big day today - received great cards from LI Bob, Carol & Ruthie. These have all been some great cards.

Mine were mailed today from 85255.

3 cards arrived today from Carol Z., Carol I. and Judy R. Great cards from all!

2 more cards arrived today. One from Carol & Ray and the other from Judy. Thanks all around. I must say that all of the cards have been great. Glad I joined in this year.

Ano ther big card day. Received cards from Lori, Carol & Judy C. (gee Judy, where have I seen that return label layout used???) The downside of these days when you receive lots of cards is that there are only a few more yet to come.

Yep, Dave, I borrowed the idea from you, and Bruce gratiously let me use his photograph.

Received Lorie's card today. Enjoying getting them but the waiting list is getting smaller every day.

Got a great card from John today. While all the cards this time around have been really great, I think the home made ones have been exceptional.

Card came in from John today. I must add that is still one of the prettiest sunrises ever. Great shot John, and a great card.

Counting the card I received today from John C., I have received 15 cards. Whose left? I think I am only missing one.

I believe it's me.

I decided to wait until a little later in the time span to send them. I'm still working on them.

I finally got mine in the mail last night.
It was quite an undertaking this year. Hope it is worth the wait. We have truly enjoyed all the cards received this year, especially the homemade ones.

I have gotten some truely beautiful cards and I am going to play dumb (I really don't have to play very hard) and ask Dave and Darlene - what lights are on your cards? They are beautiful! I am glad that we did this card exchange - we should do another one in the middle of the year - how about a "July 4 card exchange"? :p

Eskilady, I'll give you some hints: both lights start with an "M", have been made by HL, and are what we would each consider our "home" lights.

Mukilteo Light Station is my "home light". For past ten years or so I have volunteered my time working at this light station giving tours [both private and general public], working in gift shop, help during festival, etc. etc. etc. Just sort of assumed everybody knew which light it was. Sorry about that. Glad you enjoyed the card. It took several trips to get a decent photograph; luckily I am only 15-20 minutes away from this beautiful station. Then a few more to get the card made at our local Walgreens--seems every time I went in the machine had just broken down. Was beginning to wonder if I would ever get it made.

I'm mailing out my Holiday Cards tomorrow. It's not quite what I intended, but things just did not happen as I hoped.

I wanted to get to a Lighthouse and take a Christmas picture from this holiday season, but I just didn't get to any.

I then ran into computer problems- basically operator Error. So I finally gave up and went to CVS and got some cards made.

I got some very strange looks when I asked about making christmas Cards at several places before I found a CVS that had the right machine.

Sorry for the delay- but technically they will be out on time.

Time frame is until January 15, Dennis, so you made it with time to spare. Look at the up side of your problems - you gave some clerk at CVS something to talk about for a while: "some crazy guy came in to get Christmas cards made - in January. . .". I'm sure we will all enjoy your card.

Shucks, my tree is still up, so that works for me! Dennis, I like the idea of looking forward to yet another Christmas card.

My mail person gets a big kick from all my lighthouse mail. When she has to stop to bring me a package too big for the box, or one I need to sign for, she asks questions about lights.

The Fed-X guy and the UPS guy are the same way.

Love the postcard of Old Cape Henry. I am looking forward to getting down there soon. Going to try my first lighthouse outing next weekend, weather permitting.

Thanks for the great card Dennis. You know how much I love that lighthouse! I cannot wait till the Keepers Quarters are finished!

And the bonus card of Tybee brings back some of my most favorite lighthouse memories. Thank you!

Great cards Dennis! Well worth the wait. Your card may have been last, but it brought another little bit of Christmas into our home and it is greatly appreciated.

Actually, it could be considered good stategy...brought a smile on a cold winter day in January. Thank you for the bonus gift of Cape Henry. Both the CH card and your Christmas print of Sandy Hook bring back very special lighthousing memories.
