I recieved cards from Carol today as well. The ones that I got were from New York. But they too are cards that I did not have. Thanks Carol!

Any cards that come in the next two weeks will be waiting for me at my mail box. I'm going back to spend another two weeks with the Hubby in LA. smile

My cards went to the office mailroom today, which means they will go to the postoffice tomorrow. My sincere apologies for being so late. Hope everyone likes them.

I have truly enjoyed all the cards that I have received, the last being Lorie's. Bob's cards arrived nice and dry even though the envelope showed some signs of rain.

Anywayk, I sent them today. To date I have received cards fromBill, Tom, Judy N., Laura, Nancy, Bob S., Lorie, Stephanie, Carol, Rick, and Rip and Sharon. Lorie, Thanks for great cards. I've seen most in PR, but not the other two. Bob, I liked the card of the Washington lights. Where is Cedar Island? Thank you everyone.

I started my answer and hit a key and it went of into cyber space. I was telling you that I found the cards I intended to send before I sent the Pier 7 light "cards" that Glen had made. They are on their way. I found them in the computer room yesterday.

Got Melody's cards today. Thanks, Mel and everyone else. This has been fun and certainly expanded my collection. Only three more left to receive. I'm off to a lighthouse tour in Southern CA so will pick up some more for next time.

Got Mel's cards today. These are great! Thanks. I particularly like the Maine lights card. I'm trying to get there this fall. We'll see how it goes...

Good info on New Dungeness Light...

Thanks!

Sorry Ellie if I sent out the same card you sent in your second mailing - I had changed my mind about using the Cape Forchu card when you did not use it.

And to Rick, Sorry - I had to remail your cards to you, PO returned for lack of postage. I thought for sure I had put stamps on all the envelopes.

No problem, Melody, I planned on sending a Cape Forchu card and had two different ones, but sent mine just before I got yours. At least I now have a card for the next mailing.

I received cards from Carolyn and Roy in yesterday's mail. I am shocked because I am usually the last to receive cards due to the mule-train postal delivery service in Franktown. wink

Thanks Carolyn and Roy. I love the view of Pemaquid on this card, and the multi-light Maine card is great too, and different from the one I sent out.

Ellie's card was in yesterday's mail. Thanks Ellie.

Received Roy & Carolyn's cards today. All great cards and have looked forward to seeing what's in the box.

Carolyn and Roy's cards were the last I received. Still looking for Judy Rath's card.

At least the PO shouldn't have any complaints about losing business to e-Mail. I guess we could copy & paste cards into e-Mail and send them. That would be terrible, eh?

Thanks Bob for telling me where Cedar Island is. I could tell you made the card. Good job.

The cards I received are put in a 3-ring binder but are not in any kind of order. How do some of you display your cards?

Whew, I need to travel so I can get some more postcards so I can participate in another exchange if we do one right away! I haven't seen a lighthouse in person for almost a year. Guess I won't see too many in Kansas City...

Still one more to go. I had heard from Judy 2 weeks ago, but I sent a note again.

Display? Mine are currently in a shoebox. I am leaning toward the 3 ring binder, but I can also see that I need to keep track of what I have sent. A recipe card box might be another idea.

Carol, I usually forget to get postcards while I am at a lighthouse because I am busy looking at the books and the pictures. I have found some great places for lighthouse postcards online.

Mine are in an oversized notebook in archival plastic sleeves and organized by state and foreign country. We are having a postcard show tomorrow and Saturday at the Jeffco Fairgrounds in Golden were one can find many old cards of various prices.
I enjoy collecting postcards and really look forward to our next exchange. I picked up some from my recent Southern CA USLHS tour so I'm ready!

Great package, Judy, and a lighthouse stamp for my cancelled stamp collection. I was hoping most everybody would use the lighthouse stamps when they sent theirs out.

Glen had started putting them in a binder but it is hard to get the right sleeves for the bigger cards. I had asked before and Mel told me about using the photo boxes. I had boxes full of negatives and extra photos from the pre-digital era. LOL

I echo docsweetie in that I do not know if I will ever get to Nova Scotia but it is on my list. Love the postcards and the pages of "Lighthousing with Friends" Very neat how you did that. I'm not computer smart.

What is the name of the lighthouse on the note card?
