Bob, Both PCE 22 and 23 were in my mail box today! So I guess they traveled together all the way. The US Postal Service wasn't so kind to the in-envelope though. You clearly have a sticker on it that says "Please Do Not Bend" "Please Hand Cancel", But you can tell that the envelope got cought up in one of their machines. It was riped all to h-ll and back! I truly don't know how your swizzel stayed with it all the way, as it was half out of the envelope. But it did make it! Broke, but repairable with a little superglue. Thank You! I really like it.

Yikes! Bob is in the same state as me but I still haven't received his envelope yet, while it has reached some out-of-state folks. And nearby Mombo in Phoenix, NY already got hers a few days ago. Oh well, maybe the incoming rains from Francis will float it into my mailbox soon.

We received Bob's postcard in the mail Saturday. The Postal Service did a real number on it. Three quarters of the back of the envelope was completely torn away. The flyer and postcard were in tact, but no swizzle(?). At least our address was still there. Maybe the sticker with "Please Do Not Bend - Please Hand Cancel" made them angry. Thanks Bob for another new card for our collection.

My envelope arrived from Bob today. The card was bent slightly. However, the swizzle arrived in one piece. My envelope doesn't appear to have been canceled by hand or machine. Thanks for the fun extra!! Tammy

So far 'Good News' and 'Bad News' is 50/50. Those of you who got it 'intact' - Great! Those that didn't? %^&(@%#% I tried. Bubble wrap, message to USPS, wrapped in flyer, postcard for stiffness. Bob

Bob my envelope came in today without a problem. Nothing broken or missing. It came in so clean that the USPS didn't even cancel the stamps.

Well it only took a full week for Bob's envelope to travel to me across the state. Unfortunately it came in the USPS "oops" envelope. The original had a hole in it similar to the Titanic's. The stick was not in one piece, but the lighthouse was saved. The postcard had a few dents & dings in it, but is in one piece. They did hand cancel it, but must have been caught in their sorter.
REGARDLESS, BOTH ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED... THANKS!

Tammy's card arrived today as did Shirin's. Both were very nicely done. I am just so jealous of you folks who can put such nice packages together. I really appreciate all the time and effort it takes to do such quality jobs.

Thanks for the nice card and pics Shirin. Sure wish I could have gone out to the Vineyard again. The only time I was ever there was during Hurricane NELL. I'm envious.

Oh, I got another postcard from John Gaskill. It seems like I get something in about 50% of the exchanges. I think he wrote this time because he wanted to tell me that he'd spent time in Washington. It's always a pleasant surprise to hear from him.

We received a postcard and don't know who sent it. It is a new blank card, so it was sent in an envelope. We don't have the envelope, so don't know the sender. I'm guessing it was this exchange, but could be wrong. The post card is of Morgan Point Light, "Lighthouse at Noank, Connecticut". Can anyone help?

Tom & Joyce, did you get the two-page insert that I sent with the Morgan Point card? They showed images of Kim inside the Morgan Point lighthouse as well as exterior shots of Morgan Point and Mystic Seaport light along with some text. If you didn't get (or save) them I would be happy to send them again.

Tom & Joyce, did you get the two-page insert that I sent with the Morgan Point card? Ron, we did receive the two-page insert with pictures of Morgan Point (with Kim) and Mystic Seaport. Very professional layout with fantastic pictures. I separate the postcards from the inserts when they arrive and put a post-it-note on the postcard with the senders name amd PCE #. Apparently I didn't do this with the Morgan Point postcard. I file the inserts in a separate file. When I came up with the unmatched Morgan Point postcard, didn't think to check the inserts file. Thanks for asking.

Received cards from JoAnn and the Pixie today. JoAnn's card does present a view of the light you don't normally see. Pixie's card also one I have not seen before, but lights everyone will recognize.

Just got home from a wonderful Cruise to the Bahamas, and found my mailbox full. Many great lighthouse cards, 4 for PCE 22 and 4 for PCE 23 and even one from John Gaskill with a letter inviting me to come over to Gulfport for a visit, and 2 cards from Greg (seagirt) from his trip to Mass.
All the cards are new to my collection. Thanks!
