All of my cards are going out in the mail today. Everyone gets the same card.

It is getting to be a challenge to find cards that haven't already been sent. eek I have been in most of the PCE's and I don't have this card so I hope it is a new one for most of you.

In 14 hundred and 92, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

No mail pick-up tomorrow, it's true,

But my cards are ready to ship to you.

(And everyone gets the same card from Sue. smile )

I have not received any cards yet .... the mail must be slow in Meeeechegan.

The cards I'm mailing out are stamped and addressed and will be dropped into the mail tomorrow. Everyone will get the same card ... I picked them up at the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena.

My cards went out in today's mail. I include a URL for a bonus treat and am having problems making that work.

Be patient; I'll add a post here when I'm back in town and it works.

That was a pretty quick trip to Utah Lorie!

I also received cards from John and Elmer Dan today, both great cards! Thanks.

4 cards so far and none have been scraped by the USPS. They've arrived in near pristine condition. smile

Wow, the cards are already arriving! I'm still trying to find a different set of cards that no one had already sent out.

I was pleasantly surprised with your card, JC. I've never received a card that deviated from the typical rectangular shape. Excellent choice for a different style card.

Three have found their way to NY. Charles's somewhat local to me lighthouse. Sue's which we visited several years ago but didn't have a postcard of and Elmer's (Dan) arrives today. Love getting those Graet Lakes cards. Maybe someday I'll see them in person. Still no 'unique' shaped card from JC. frown

Better get mine in the works!

I came back from a meeting in San Francisco to find 3 postcards waiting for me. You guys did a good job covering the regions...an east coast one from Sue, a Great Lakes one from Dan, and a west coast one from John. All great cards...and new ones for me!

I did get my first mailing package yesterday and in it wore two cards. One from Charles and one from Lorie. Thanks!

Just updateing for the cards that I had gotten in my last package. Mombo, John, Elmer, and Shirin.

Next mail package should arrive Monday or Tue. looking farward to more then.

Stephanie

PS
one thing I noticed: Mombo is the only one who put the PCE 19 on thier card. This is something that we all need to do! Althought I can't realy remember if I did or not.

I'm not a part of this exchange... but have to jump in and ditto something.

The LSS on the boardwalk at Virginia Beach is a wonderful exhibit and do check it out if you come that way.

Also on the Outer Banks, the Chicamacomico Historical society has done a fantastic job with the buildings they have. That LSS is located in Rodanthe.

Added bonus...both have great gift shops!

My contribution to this exchange may arrive beyond the deadline of the end of this month. I'm still looking for a card everyone hasn't received as of yet, and that isn't easy to find. I also figure it's getting too close to Christmas to be mailing postcards which may get lost in the Christmas rush of mail. I'll let you guys know when they are mailed.

Bob, I like your idea about avoiding the holiday mail rush. I do have my cards for this exchange but I too, think that they have a better chance of arriving after Christmas.

Even in normally slower mail times the cards can take over a week to arrive. John's card in this exchange took over a week from Arizona to New York.

Actually the week bettwen Christmas & New Years might be OK but I'll post when I mail.
