Although I did not join the post card exchange, I had an idea after seeing that Tom and Joyce had sent electronic post cards ahead to their list of people.
What I had thought was that maybe one recipient could scan all the cards and post them to Photopoint for everyone to see, only one person would need to do this since everyone would most likely have a same set of post cards.

Just a thought

That is a great thought, Mark. The only thing is that I sent different cards to everybody. I always purchase four or five of every different lighthouse postcard I see. That is why I was able to send my cards out right away because they were right in stock at my home. I keep a photo album of all the different cards I have received in the past via swaps and the ones I've purchased. Besides that, my scanner died and I don't know if it's worth fixing taking into consideration the cost of a new scanner is probably close to what it will cost to repair mine. I was actually thinking of replacing the scanner with a digital camera.

That thought came to me, too Mark. But the problem is one of copyright issues. Most Post Cards are copyrighted and to post them on the Internet would violate those copyrights.

Would the "Copyright Cops" be any match for Mark's associate, "Blind Tony"? Tony has a little business on the side named "Cement Overshoe Mooring Service". Tony has "sunk" a lot into this business and continues to enjoy a healthy return for his services.
