If you live close to an outlet mall that has the store Book Warehouse, you might want to check them out real soon! We went into two of them in the past two days and they have about 8 to 10 different lighthouse books at greatly reduced prices. One store was in Hilton Head and the other south of Jacksonville. I have a few of the books listed below:

Legendary Lighthouses volume I & II soft bound - by John Grant and Ray Jones - retail $24.95 for $9.00.

Southern Lighthouses - Outer Banks to Cape Florida - by Bruce Roberts and Ray Jones, third edition, soft bound - retail $19.95 for $7.00.

Lighthouses of Europe - Photographs by Philip Plisson and Guillaume Plisson, text by Daniel Charles, hard bound - retail $45.00 for $15.99.

Irish Lighthouses - by Sharma Krauskopf, soft bound - retail $19.95 for $7.00

Scottish Lighthouses - by Sharma Krauskopf, soft bound - retail $19.95 for $7.00.

These are the ones that I bought that I didn't have already. There were a few more, such as others by Ray Jones and Bruce Roberts. I really don't think these will be around for long at these prices, so good luck!!!

They also offer a 15% off discount on their already low prices to teachers, librarians, and school administrators from pre-school through college. Just show your id or business card.

Thanks for the link, Dave. I never heard of this store and was surprised to find out there is one in the Town of Wrentham which is only 10 minutes from my home. I'll have to check it out some time.

To Bob and the others: This might be a "snooze and lose" if you like lighthouse books! I have been going to their stores for a few years and never seen a selection of lighthouse books before! This might just be a one time shot!

Birmingham has had a wter theme park, 'Vision Land' for several years now. Two years ago they opened an outlet mall near there - I tried to find it - and that bookstore (Thanks, Dave H for the lead to there site...) Tuesday. No wonder they have so few customers - Lewis & Clark would have trouble finding it (and that park...). No signs... 40 miles from my house... no H-L dealers...

The store had several of the books - including the Vol II of the PBS series companion book 'Legendary Lighthouses'. The only one I needed was the Eastern Great Lakes Lighthouses, having paid retail for the others - kind of fair considering the 'deals' I've gotten on H-L's!

The city is trying to sell that park, if any of y'all are interested.... $25M, with over a $100M in bad debts. I love to see my tax $ wasted!

Oh, Stephanie: Don't buy that Foley store out - I may stop by next week as well! Those books are a great deal. Hopefully that store will have a better selection.
