That was pretty quick service by the Post Office Dave! I put them in the mail Saturday afternoon!

Showtime had "Super" Dave.(Haven't had that cable station for a few years - don't know if he is still on there) So, which do you like better? "Super" Dave or "Big" Dave?!?

Thanks for the card, Randy. My comment to my husband was that all the times we have been to this very spot....we have never gone over to the water...we knew it was there, but will try to walk the short distance the next time. It is amazing to me that when I lived in Jacksonville(3 years) and took all my visitors to St. Augustine, we never went to the lighthouse. But then, I was not into lighthousing then.

Dave is just jealous of your golden prize! I know you are pinching yourself.....Don't pinch too hard, you really did win it!

The latest addition to our pile of postcards came from the Golden Boy Randy and the not so golden Dave.

They both came through in great shape.

Thanks,

Rec'd a great card from Tom & Joyce Abbott today. It was different in that it showed a nice picture of the light,a shot of the lens,a photoof the last Keeper and a cutaway of the tower with some history.Alot of great info and pictures on one card.Don't see many like this one.Bill O'Brien

My cards went out yesterday. I was surprised by the increase in postage, even though I knew it was going to happen. Guess I live in fog! Also reminded me that I sent out alot of appointment reminder cards for the doctor I work for with the wrong postage. Oops.
See the forum is good for alot more than just lighthouse information.
