Suzanne's card quickly made its trip north today. Nice card, a light I drive by everyday. Where did you find that card, I couldn't find it locally when I was looking for cards when I started with PCE.

My cards are going to be going on Christmas Eve, I am sending my true "home light" and they are sitting at Mom and Dad's waiting to be sent.

I believe I found that postcard at The Lighthouse Shop in Kewaunee, Wisconsin two years ago.

George, I hope the mule is able to get thru with that load of cards for you.

Well, I just got around to logging on to say that I put my postcards in the mail on Wednesday, but I see from the previous post that at least one has arrived already. It is not technically a lightHOUSE card, but I hope you agree that it qualifies. Hope you enjoy receiving it.

Mine went out today, I grew up looking at this light everyday. So I waited until I could get home so the postmark would match the card.

Darlene's card made it to Utah today where we have sooooo much snow. It is a fun and unique card.

Bryan's card also came in the mail today. John and I were able to spend the day with Bryan when we viewed this light while we were in Michigan for the Grand Rapids regional event.

Thanks for all the cards so far.

Didn't forget you, I planned to send my cards after Christmas but before New Years. However, when I cleaned up my dining room for family coming for Christmas dinner I misplaced my shoebox with all cards, addresses etc. Finally found it last night so I be getting my cards out by this weekend. Too many boxes in too small a house creates a treasure hunt every so often! (not the least of which is 50 or so HL boxes piled in the corners of rooms waiting for display space)
Donna

Received Randy's card today - hope the mailperson enjoyed reading it. Wondered how Lorie got Donna's card before I did, but now that it has arrived I can see why - the USPS beat the living daylights out of it. Didn't tear it, but did fold, spindle & mutilate it. Both are very nice cards (and new ones).

I must apologize for not sending out my cards for PCE #19 yet. January has been a very busy month with the birth of a new grandson and the hospitalization of my Dad. I'm happy to say both are doing fine now.

I received some very informative suggestions from a couple of CF members and I'm definitely looking into that possibility as soon as I get a few spare moments.

Please bear with me for now.

A little drum roll please!

I finally got a few spare moments and completed my obligation to PCE #19! Although I altered the format a little, they will all go into the mail in the morning. Instead of one card/no envelope, y'all on the PCE #19 mailing list will receive two brand new cards in an envelope.

I do sincerely apologize for being so tardy. I'm trying to engage my emergency brake of our lives but haven't been able to do so yet. Time is flying and we are having trouble trying to slow it down.

Everybody is receiving two cards and I hope you like them. One is a vintage card that I found in a little shop that was being forced out of their location, and the other is one of those non-rectangular shape cards. Hopefully, they both are cards you haven't received in the past. Part of my lateness was the fact I couldn't locate any different cards to send out that I hadn't already sent in the past.

I promise to stay out of the postcard exchanges for awhile unless I find something new and different at the islands this summer. Our first vacation is coming up at the end of the month and we're really looking forward to it.

Thank you for your patience!

smile Bob M. smile

Better late than never Bob. smile laugh smile

The hardest part of the PCE for me is trying to find cards that have never been sent before. I have 2 sets of cards (50) that are sitting in my drawer because I bought them thinking they were new cards that hadn't been sent. When I got home from my trips I found that they had already been sent before. frown

I'm always on the hunt for something new.

BTW...your card will complete PCE #19
