Players in this round robbin are: Round Robin #5-3 1) Tom & Joyce Abbott - Desoto, TX 2) Shortcake - Mobile, AL 3) Jake - Highland, IN 4) RScroope - Mount Sinai, NY 5) Pharologst - Murphy, NC 6) JoAnn - Astoria, OR 7) Christine Grass - Florissant, MO 8) BonnieJean - Brooksville, FL The last thing posted in the original thread was by Tom & Joyce: Really slow or lost? Took three weeks from Texas to Stephanie in Alabama. Stephanie is having her mail forwarded to Georgia so it takes a little longer. But now it been over two weeks since it was sent from Georgia to Indiana. Maybe the Robin's wings are getting tired.

Has no-one heard from the Round Robin sense it left me????  I delivered it to the Postoffice myself, so I know it made it into the hands of the US Postal Service, OK. Haven't heard anything out of RR #1 ether. Can't even find a post on it anymore? What is happening to these Round Robins? I for one have enjoyed them, I hate to see them die like this!  Shortcake

As Bonniejean apparently is not participating in other RR's that she started, and is not responding to emails. I suggest that you drop her from the cycle if you wish to continue this RR. The last person on the list (just before Bonnie Jean) should shuffle the list order and send out the cards etc. If not then this one will probably be over as well. Look for other RR's to start in the next few days to take over the desire of many to to continue.

The RR should return to BonnieJean so that she gets her chance at the cards in the robbin. She "seeded" the robbin at the start, she deserves to get the robbin last. If it dies at that point, start a new one. After several rounds with the same players, I would think it would be interesting to shuffle all the robbins into new ones and re-start from there. At that point one of the participants (usually the one who starts the cycle) needs to step up and take charge, put the names together and start a new robbin off.

Dave I agree, but a month has gone by without any form response from BJ. I suggest YOU contact her. I'll start another RR almost immediately.

You need not worry about me doing my job as Cruise Director of this forum. I have sent email to BonnieJean. The fact that she has not been heard from is not the reason this robbin is going slow. If each of the remaining participants follows the rules, the robbin will terminate when Chris sends 10 cards to BonnieJean. It still has to go through you, JoAnn and Chris before being returned to BonnieJean.
By all means, start a new robbin. That was my suggestion. Just be sure that you do in fact see this one to its conclusion.

Thanks, Bob. I may be a few days late in returning them to the cyce as I have to go to FL to be with my sick father. Will probably return about the 16th, so cards will go back out later that week.
