Hello, Does anyone know if a new "Green Book Price Guide" is out on the market? Mine are very old and not accurate anymore. Thanks, Carol

I don't believe Greenbook has published any other Guide to Harbour Lights since their 1998/1999 Premiere Edition. They might have gone "belly-up" by now.
 Bob

There is a current price guide that lists Harbour Lights. I buy it every year. While it may not be as good as the now defunct Green Book, it does have a fairly accurate price guide. The book is the Price Guide to Contempoary Collectibles and Limited Editions. The current edition is #9. It is published by Krause Publications and sells for $21.99 plus shipping and can be ordered by calling 1-800-258-0929. The prices are provided by Matt Rothman of Lighthouse Trading Company. It is much better then nothing at all.

Green Book publishing did go belly-up a few years back after trying to spread their success with the Dept 56 guides to other collectibles. They only published the HL guide one year and then along came ebay.
I recall someone reporting that the 'Green Bay' name was bought out for use in a Dept 56 price guide by another publisher, but I can't be certain about that. Anyone else?
I'd be suspicious of the values for any guide book that originate with a single secondary market dealer. Nothing personal about Matt Rothman, but he has a vested interest in higher prices and there is no one else in the secondary market business to balance or challenge against.
ebay has been both the great boon and bain to the secondary market... but that's another rant.
