Noticed the auction. Also noted the number of negative responses the seller had. Not sure I would deal with them.

I just took a look at this guy's feedback. It can be described in one word, AWFUL! There's a person who can give the secondary market a bad name. Don't deal with him or there will be a good chance you'll be very sorry.  Bob

You are right. This guy is bad news. This aution will be a bad example of how well the FRESNEL LENS will do on Ebay.

Just think how high the bid may have gotten if the seller didn't have a bad feedback profile. 11 of his 62 feedbacks are negative.

I think somebody is going to be sorry for that one. To pay that much for an item that has been out for a week, and that, when all is said and done with a little work, (or none at all) you'll be able to buy at retail for a while, well let's just say I hope it pays off for them. I just got a call that mine came in today, and I can't wait to pick it up for retail!

I don't know whether to be happy or sad for the person who paid "top-dollar" for the lens. At least they got one and some people may not. It's good to know that such a high value is placed on something that costs a lot less. I know my dealer is saving one for me when it comes in. Now that's a real thing to be joyous over! Bob

There are now five Fresnel Lens on ebay.
The highest of the five is $148 with the reserve not met.
