in tracking the e-bay market for the last two months (daily), I have recently started to track how auctions are finalized. The following information is for 5-20 and 5-21:

reserve not met: 9 pieces (4 for 5-21 and 5 for 5-20)

no bids: 47 pieces (29 for 5-21 and 19 for 5-20)

sold: 38 pieces (12 for 5-21 and 21 for 5-20)

How about adding the total number of ebay items found through the "Harbour Lights" search each day?

It's easy to spot the slow sellers on eBay. Those are the ones with no reserve, a very reasonable opening bid request, and still no bids. Often times bidders are turned off by high shipping fees which can ruin a real deal.

A "dog" says, "Woof!" Harbour Lights can only speak for themselves without uttering a word.

at the moment of this post, there are 297 Harbor Lights items listed on e-bay. This is down from 397 recently (last month). I haven't been tracking that information, but the apparent difference seems interesting.

It makes me wonder whether prices decline or increase when there is a scarcity of material versus a good number of items?
