A Mark Twain In Store Event Drawing gold (HL 654G) in Mint condition sold on ebay this evening for $250.

Same seller has an Old Mackinaw Point (HL 118) Paint Sample with a chip on base now listed on ebay with a reserve of $112.50.

Any comments?

That's the lowest I have seen for a Gold Mark Twain by a bunch, but I don't track eBay much at all any more.

I sure wish they would shoot their images on a neutral colored background, because the color of the cloth is reflected in the lighthouse..

Yes--we try to make it every year we can. Looks like the Harbour Lights auction on Sat. has about 20 items, including several AP's. That would be a place to find me.

Seems to me that having a HL Regional at one or more of these festivals around the country might be the way to go in the future.

HL 118 Old Mackinac Paint Sample mentioned above sold this evening on eBay for $117.60. 4 bidders and 13 bids. This piece had a base chip near flag, lightning rod, gray felt, and a hand printed sticker on bottom identifying it.

Nice to see a HL piece selling above a rock bottom price on eBay these days, especially with some bidding action and damaged at that!!
