If you follow eBay, you will notice a lot of older and rare pieces being offered. Some of them are bringing some pretty impressive winning bids:

HL 102, Cape Hatteras...sold $645
HL 135, Ocracoke Low # Canadian...sold $455
HL 135, Ocracoke...sold $395
HL 135, Ocracoke...sold $381
HL 133, Tybee Canadian...sold $362.57
HL 136, Hilton Head Canadian...sold $325
Mini New Point Loma...sold $297
Navesink...sold $220

These are just a few of the many that go each day at eBay. I think the one that surprised me the most was Navesink at $220. Most Navesinks have been only bringing around $125 in my most recent memory.

I think the most impressive is the 5th Order Fresnel Lens for $227.50. There hasn't been an L.E. this popular and demanding such an increase in profits since 1995. The 5th order always bring in between two and three times it retail price on ebay. Harbour lights did a great job with this one. From the design to the low number. I also believe that because Harbour Lights did such a good marketing job on the 5th order that is why all the other Fresnel Lens sell so good.

The other good marketing feature that H.L. is following is that they are keeping the production down. It was the fourth order lens that had a production amount of 7500. Then later in the Legacy Kim announced that it would be 5500 like all the previous. Good move Harbour lights. The Fresnel Lens series is very impressive and the secondary market is proof of that.

I can't speak for the East coast but there are still plenty of fresnel lenses (the 5th notwithstanding) still sitting on dealer shelves out west here...

We have a few on the shelves here in Massachusetts also. It's surprising that they aren't all gone yet.
