Probably less than 50 or so.. There are black, green and white tipped original Hatteras Lighthouses and only 250 were made before they stopped production because of breakage... The they changed the design (mold) and made the rest of the 5500 run of Hatteras Lighthouses..

Some people say that there are only dark green and white tipped variations and that thsome of the dark green ones are so dark they appear black.

Several collectors that I know have all three variations, limiting the amount that available even more!!

In the past, these have sold for $5,500. So no doubt the buyer (OUR Sandy?) thought it was a great buy.

Is that a Charleston green tip, Paul?
The green paint on the houses in Charleston, SC were originally black paint with a slight trace of yellow since only black paint was available during the Cival War years.. Thus, the green/black is know as Charleston Green.
