I know this doesn't matter to some people and others it's a must have but...if you read the listing it says it does not include a box.

No Coquille sticker on the bottom takes a few bucks off the value, besides no box. If the piece had the original box and the sticker, it would probably be gone already at $1200 "Buy It Now". Currently there is no "Buy It Now" and the high bid is $300. The seller is fairly new to the eBay scene so you have to ask yourself, "Do I feel lucky?" Bob

You maybe able to still get the HL stickers through Harbour Lights. They use to carry them. It has the Canadian sticker, that's good.

Currently there is no "Buy It Now" and the high bid is $300. Bob, the listing was started at $9.99 with a "Buy it Now" at $1200. Perhaps the "Buy it Now" feature goes away after bidding starts. Don't know. Anyway, the first bid came within the first fifteen minutes. It's a ten day listing, so plenty of time for the amount to go up. From the photos, the piece appears to be in very good shape, and I also noted the Canadian sticker. No box on this one wouldn't deter me if I were to bid. Only, did you notice the bidding end time is April 1? Judy

When someone bids the buy it now option is no longer in effect. So, Judy-yes it goes away. Although I noticed there was a Big Bay and several other LE pieces from a seller listed last week. Somehow they had it listed so that the buy it now option didn't go away, even though there were bidders. If I'm not mistaken it was purchased shortly after that with the buy it now for $135.00.

I'm pretty sure you have the option to say when the Buy-It-Now goes away. The default is with the first bid.

If there's a reserve and a Buy It Now price, the BIN is pulled when the reserve price is met. If there is no reserve with a BIN, the BIN is pulled when the first bid is received.

Sandy,
I was pretty sure that is the case. Therefore I'm extremely happy that you decided to post. Thanks a lot.

If there's a reserve and a Buy It Now price, the BIN is pulled when the reserve price is met. If there is no reserve with a BIN, the BIN is pulled when the first bid is received. Sandy is correct. I was bidding on a rather desireable piece that had the BIN feature, but I wasn't willing to "buy it now" at that time if I could get it cheaper by bidding lower. If my memory serves me correctly, there was only a couple of bidders on this piece and it was coming down to the final few hours when the auctioned ended abruptly. I inquired why the auction disappeared before its formal ending time and was told some one used BIN. I then expressed the fact that I was under the impression that BIN went out the window once the first bid was made. I was told it goes out the window after the first bid above the reserve is made. So as Paul Harvey would say, "Now you know the rest of the story!" Bob

Okay Sorry about the misup a few days ago. Got my shortcuts mixed up.
The Bid for the Number 640 Coquille has finally ended and it went for $1,052.47 That is pretty much what a Canada version with out a box has gone for the past five years. Low has been $800 and high as been $1200. So I would have to say that a no-box , 4-panel version, Coquille River has a ebay value of around $1000
