This topic moved from the General Forum

The "Green Book" was published only in the year 1998. This was at the 'peak' of secondary market values for many HarbourLights retired items, and so the prices you'll find in this book are very out of date.

The company that published the Green Book series on collectibles has gone out of business.

The only currently available guide to secondary market prices on Harbour Lights is published by the Collectors Information Bureau (CIB). Their prices are based on actual sales by secondary market dealers.

However, the number of secondary market dealers for Harbour Lights has seen a dramatic decrease from 1998-2002. I do not know how many different dealers contribute information on secondary sales to CIB now.

CIB does not use information from ebay or other on-line auction sites. I think that a majority of secondary market action these days is through on-line sites such as ebay and our own "Marketplace Forum".

You can order the CIB guide online at www.collectorsinfo.com

There is another secondary market guide out there. The book is the 2002 Collector's Mart Price Guide to Limited Edition Collectibles. You can order it from Krause Publications at 1-800-258-0929 and pay by credit card. The price is $19.95 and it is a pretty good price guide for major collectibles. It has about 4 pages on Harbour Lights and the prices are pretty accurate especially since the information is from 2001. Matt Rothman of the Lighthouse Trading Company is the person that compiled the Harbour Lights prices.

There is a Harbour Lights Greenbook Guide Premiere listed on the "you know what" auction site.

Auction ends May 22, 2002 17:53 PDT

Brand "new" still shrink wrapped. SRP $21.95

Yes it is very much out of date, but a GREAT resource book with tons of valuable information on variations with photos!!
