Hey Bob, ...There's no damage to that Umpqua River HL. That's just the "short-box" version of the piece. Bill ordered thousands of boxes and one came in a little shorter than the others. He then asked Harry to file down the top of the piece so it would fit in the box. Presto! A rare variation is made! Without the ventilator ball, sea gulls were able to comfortably land on top of the piece and that's where the "white" came from, if you know what I mean.

Let the buyer beware!
