I was unaware that Harbour Lights had made more than the (450) thumbnails that were given out at the 2005 Reunion on Mackinaw Island. However there is an ebay ad for them by a man that claims to be selling them for the Waugoshance Lighthouse Preservation Society.
I have written him and he said that he has quite a few to sell. And has stated that they are the Thumbnails.
Check it out, what do you think?
Waugoshance limited edition mini lighthouses Item number: 6262242151 (sorry I don't know how to post the link)

I believe Dave made mention of the fact a while back that he had extras of some of the reunion thumbnails. Maybe this guy bought all of the extras Waugoschance pieces as a fundraiser?.

I had 100 extra Waugoshance thumbnails made to give to the Waugoshance Preservation Society. They were specifically told they should not be sold, but rather used as gifts or special items for their members. I have sent them an email asking them to stick to my request.

Dave,
I remember you mentioning the extra Waugoshance thumbnails. But, is it possible that the Waugoshance Preservation Society is actually giving them away?
The recipients may be the folks who are attempting to sell on Ebay? Just a thought.
Mayber they gave a bunch to one person? What do I know?

Bob, look at the seller's name and location. He has one previous sale in 2004. If they registered with that name I tend to believe my guess is correct. We'll see if another one pops up.
I guess this backs up the old adage that no good deed goes unpunished. I specifically asked them not to sell them to the public so that there would be no conflict with Reunion attendees who wanted to sell theirs. I am rather surprised that no sets of thumbnails have shown up for sale (at least I don't think so.)
If they keep going for $26 I may have to break up the sets I have left and flood the market....
The description that was given for this sale could easily lead someone to think they were bidding on the Reunion mini, not a thumbnail. ANd, with the postage charge there is an additional $4 profit....

Geez, one would hope they haven't betrayed your trust, Dave. Maybe it was his from his own set and he sold it to benefit the group? I know they are trying to buy a zodiac to get out to the light, however, you can't nickel and dime to come up with that kind of money.
