Besides being a Wacko or Super Wacko on these boards?

Is that you have gone out of your way, on a quest to see a particular lighthouse that you just HAD to see?

Is it that your Lighthouse Book collection is the envy of your local library?

Is it that you feel that you personally keep Harbor Lights in business by your purchases?

Is it that you keep buying Lighthouse figures, even though there is not quite enough space to put them in?

Is it that when other people hear about lighthouses they say "Oh, I thought of you."?

Is it that you have spent hundreds of dollars on film and cameras to keep that personal lighthouse photo album going?

Is it that people can tell you are into lighthouses by just looking at your car (bumperstickers, or special vanity plate?)

You are a lighthouse fanatic when you spend all your "free" time thinking about or reacting to lighthouses. You are a fanatic when you read lighthouse catalogs as though they were best selling books. You are a fanatic when you check this bulletin board every break you get. You are a lighthouse fanatic when you dream about them at night. You are a lighthouse fanatic when you know more about the topic and have more books in your personal collection than the local library.

When you try to justify what you're doing Roxie, by asking "the question". lol

Uh-oh - I've been found out.....

When half the people in your town think of you everytime they see a lighthouse or lighthouse item and think,"nah she already has that!" And you could open up your home as a lighthouse gift shop and when your husband asks where you want to go for a vacation you reply, "only where I can see a lighthouse." Then I think you are a wacko for sure.

I would add the following to the list of signs...

* All of your co-workers have what they call "Lighthouse Awareness." Not only do they pick up lighthouse postcards and other items for you when they are on vacation, but they have learned to look out for lighthouses where ever they go.

* You mangage with mimimal effort to get co-workers to attend the lighthouse open house tours that you are giving, including your boss!

When your friends look at your photos and say "Lighthouses AGAIN??? Why don't you take pictures of PEOPLE for once??? Geez, you're obsessed..."

When you spend the majority of a full day organizing you lighthouse postcards?

It is when the Insolation R-rating has tripled in your attic, due to all the HL Boxes and foam inserts that you put there for storage.

When you tell people about your weekend, and they 'roll their eyes' :rolleyes: when you tell them about the great shots of the lighthouse you got in the snow.

When you have every square inch of wallspace in your home covered in lighthouse-related prints, photos, and posters, thus completely covering the lightouse wallpaper.
When the only clothes you wear are from lightouses, events, and the like.

When you sit in front of the monitor, after months of researching, and say...."gee, you mean that's all of the lighthouse sites there is?"

You use Microsoft Streets & Trips to track the Lights you have seen and and are planning to visit, along with plotting the Harbour Lights you own!
