Howdy bdbowtimom,

Welcome aboard. It's great to see that you have elected to join the Collector Forums. Have fun and enjoy. You will meet many interesting fellow lighthousers along the way. If you have questions, just ask. Someone is bound to know the answers or will be able to accomplish the necessary research to discover the answers.

Thanks for the welcome. Question right off the bat. From the computer DUH, HOW do you get a picture of something to show up on the right-hand side of your posts?

I am 62, married, one son who is 32 and two grandchildren, Rebecca 6, and Nicholas 3. I live in the Keeper's House of the New Castle Front Range Lighthouse in Delaware! I have lived here since 1953 when my grandparents were high bidder when the U.S. Government put the property up for sale. I just found OUT about Lighthousefriends and that "my" lighthouse is on there and also that it and the Rear Range Light have been done by Harbour Lights from two really great people who visited here on Sunday. I don't know her name on here. She and her husband were great. Aren't all lighthouse people?

Welcome to the CF, bdbowtimom! welcome
That picture of which you are questioning is called an avatar. I think it gets activated after so many posts to allow you to upload a picture of a specific size...that can be done very easily with a software editing package. So post away!
How cool it must be to live at a lighthouse. Do you get alot of visitors?

Welcome bdbowtimom
That is fantastic you live in the Keeper's House at the New Castle Front Range Lighthouseighthouse.
Maybe you can share some stories.
