Which is your favorite Harbour Light? I know that for many of us, they are like children and we couldn't POSSIBLY pick one over the others, but.... I 'm sure that you have one that you always display more prominently in front of the others because it just looks better. Disregard age, value, or sentimental feelings towards a light and simply pick one on its beauty. In other words, if a non-lighthouse person came to your door and wanted to see just one, which one would you show off. I'll start this post with - WHITE SHOAL LIGHT [This message has been edited by easya (edited 02-20-2000).]

Ummmmm....that's a tough one but I would have to say "Thomas Point". But...."Hudson-Athens" and the twin "Cape Henry's" rank a close 2nd!

Pick just one? I can't do it. My choices are Portland Head, St. George's Reef, Castle Hill, and Bald Head.

I'll stick with my response to the last question- Rose Island, RI. My second choice would be Navesink, NJ. It is physically impressive, even if you don't find it visually appealing. Dennis

I would say Cape Henry as it was the first lighthouse that I ever climbed. Hal

This Week, it's: Rose Island in 1st Place, Old Field Point in Second, ... Hudson-Athens a very close 3rd, with St. George's Reef receiving honorable mention Who knows what next week will bring but these will still be my contenders [This message has been edited by JULB (edited 02-20-2000).]

Last time I looked at my display case Cape Florida Really stood out. But a few days ago it was Oak Island. A few days before that it was White Shoal. So in other words my favorite HL changes every time I look at them. No mater how many times I change my mind on my favorite, day-in and day-out, Currituck, Bodie Island, and Cape Lookout will compose part of the top 5.

Tough question! Like dice, I picked up the curio, shook it real hard and threw the contents on the floor. The one that stood out above the rest was HUDSON ATHENS. Of course if I did it again it would be totally different.

Usually Alcatraz, but last week it was Cape Florida, and right now Jupiter is demanding attention!

Well this is a tuff one in which like others it changes from day to day.. It would be a toss up between Hillsboro, Currituck, or an original 17 Boston Harbor with a rod.. Then ask me tomorrow, and it could be any of them in the curio. Rusty
