I live in Maryland, where sadly a lot of the lighthouses now are nothing more than their screw pile foundations with automated lights on them. There's still some left, my favorite is Point Lookout. Only recently have I been able to get out and explore the lights now that I have a job that allows me a lot of free time. Hopefully this fall I'll be able to get out in the Chesapeake and get you guys some good pics of the offshore lights.

This looks like a fun place!

If you get a chance, take part in the Maryland Lighthouse Challenge on the weekend of September 20th and 21st at various lighthouses around the Chesapeake Bay! Sure to be a great time as always.
