Welcome to the Forums. Let me be one of many to say hello to you. Please post and tell us about your interests in lighthouses and also include a little bit about yourself. Why thanks all of you! What a warm welcome. I've always loved lighthouses ever since I was little. My mom is an artist and I have a beautiful painting she did, its hanginging in my livingroom in fact. Its of Cape Hattaras I think she said, in the Carolinas? I should take a digital and do a link to it so you can all see it.
Im a historian in NY. I think lighthouses have such a mystic about them, the stories they could tell!
In fact it is a quest that has brought me here which I shall put in a seperate post ......

 OK. Here is her painting as best as I could get it. It's in oils. She did it from a photograph snagged from a friend about ... wow ... 30 yrs ago is my best guess, maybe longer.
Todays events are tomorrow's history.
