Welcome to the Forums. Let me be one of many to say hello to you. Please post and tell us about your interests in lighthouses and also include a little bit about yourself. It is great to have another member of Lighthouse Digest joining our Forums.

While you are looking over the Forums and becoming familiar with our different topics, I want to tell you about our HL Collector Forums Exclusive that was made for our members by Harbour Lights. It is a replica of the Erie Land Light and is available now. The cost is $50.00 and a member may buy as many of these exclusives as they want. The lighthouse is a limited edition of only 500 pieces. If you are interested, go to the top of the Forums under LIGHTHOUSEKEEPERS where the Exclusive is listed or click on http://www.lighthouse-events.com/forums/ .

Thanks for the great welcome from so many of you. I've been reading your forum for awhile, and decided it was time to sign up.
I was an obsessed collector of Harbour Lights in the late 90's, and spent an absurd amount of money on long distance calls (before I owned a computer or a cell phone) tracking down those elusive early editions. The thrill of the hunt, you know.... I did pretty good, and acquired an almost complete collection of the 5,500 editions, except for the hardest to find and most expensive (we all know which ones those are). About the time they increased the limited editions to 10,000, I decided I didn't have enough money or space to continue, and I stopped at HL200.
The only way I could control my addiction was to walk away, so I've been totally out of touch with the Harbour Lights scene for years. Most of my beloved lighthouses are still in their boxes in the storeroom because I haven't had the space to display them, so recently I thought about selling some of them, and I started doing a little research to see how the secondary market is doing. Unfortunately I got hooked again, and I've been buying more than selling. I'm guessing you all know a little bit about that.
Anyway, this is a rather long introduction, but I'm happy to join the rest of you wackos, and I look forward to future communications.
The light is on ... Pam smile
