Was just about to call it a night when I saw your post Shirin. Could this be a "real" screwpile lighthouse?! Have been looking in the "Forgotten Beacons" book but can't quite find an exact match. While many of these lights were destroyed this book says "removed" or "taken out of service" for some of them. I'm sure one of our Chesapeake experts will know about this one!

You guys want to "kick in" and buy it? We could have some great HL parties there. I wonder how deep the water is near that great looking dock?

After I made my post last night I was thinking about how much the light for sale looked like the Sharps Point B&B in Annapolis.

Looking at the website below, the addresses match. And, perhaps the real estate agent is a relative of the current owners.

So, that makes this light a replica, not the real thing.

Just what I've been looking for Shirin! "If I had a million dollars I'd buy MaryAnn a lighthouse! We'll a few million. Lotto was $24 million. You never know?

Yup, that's it! Check out the entrance here:

Strange it isn't being advertised as a commercial property. Supposed to be a replica of Thomas Point having become a sanctioned light by the Coast Guard in 1993.
